Vito’s background and practice in contemporary silver-smithing, where he engages with traditional and digital processes, qualifies him to work with a wide range of students from across the Faculty. His practice encompasses processes such as, metal forming and fabrication, metal casting, 3D modelling and laser cutting.
Whether it be in the Sculpture foundry pouring molten bronze, in the Jewellery Workshop instructing on metal forming and jewellery process or training Architecture students on the laser cutting equipment Vito is able to assist students in achieving their goals in a considered and innovative manner all within MADA’s supportive environment.
Vito has exhibited nationally and internationally and has most recently been a guest lecturer at Rhode Island School of Design’s Jewellery Department.
