He is a highly respected illustrator and design educator, having secured among the highest unit evaluations in the university for his teaching, and the most respected and coveted awards in the Illustration profession.
Ned’s images are identifiable through their highly stylised forms, emphasis on bold colour, whimsical content and rich, multi-layered textures. Ned has created numerous design and image solutions for a broad range of companies and products that include postage stamps, billboards, picture books, packaging designs, corporate branding, sports apparel, and character design for motion graphics. His work has been featured in a number of international publications such as New York Art Directors Club Annual, Graphis Annual, Print and How Magazines and Lurzers Archive. He has received numerous local Awards for creative excellence from AWARD and MADC and has served on judging panels of both these professional associations.
