He completed undergraduate studies at McGill University in Montréal, and postgraduate studies at the Teknillinen Korkeakoulu in Helsinki, and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

He has worked in private practice with various firms in Finland, Slovenia, Canada, and the United States, and is a co-founder of the interdisciplinary design studio little wonder. little wonder is interested in how well-being and energy concerns in tandem with explorations of natural phenomena and new materials and manufacturing processes can lead to new relationships between artifacts, environments and users. Their work has been published, exhibited and manufactured internationally.

For Sadar, the central question in architecture is how the building mediates the relationship between the the body and the natural world. Architecture, for him, is thus situated amidst the overlapping fields of health, medicine, biology, materials science, and engineering.
