Brent’s work explores the nature of representation, presentation and projection; examining the interplay and anomalies that exist between external and internal states of being and the paradoxical boundary that exists between them. Brent’s practice is heavily involved in realising sculptural forms within cast glass. Mastery of material, exploration and understanding of the glass medium are undercurrents within his work.
