The Palazzi MFA Award was won by Rosina Prestia. Thank you to Simon Kessel for his support of this prize.

The Sutton Emerging Artist Prize for an exhibition in the Sutton Gallery Project Space in early 2018 was awarded to Marnie Edmiston. Thank you to Liz McDowell, Co-Director, and Irene Sutton, Director, Sutton Gallery, Melbourne.

The Kingston Art Centre Exhibition Prize was awarded to Marnie Edmiston and Kym Maxwell. This involves a solo exhibition at Kingston Arts from Nov. 1 to 19 December 2017. Thank you to Justin Gayner and Michelle James Visual Art Coordinators at Kington City Council who’ve said the following: “The dual theme we felt across their works was their engaging approach to institutional space, their roles as artists and power play, which we feel opens up possibilities for us to curate an exhibition that speaks to our context as a Council art gallery within a social environment. There’s scope for the artists to create new works, modify existing works, or make work from their studios or the galleries in the lead up to the opening, in conversation with Kingston Arts.”
