Natural growth can take over constructed spaces in an unruly, invasive manner in an uncontrolled environment. My works portray nature taking control, rather than humans taking control of nature. I have explored the idea of growth and invasion of space that nature can inflict. The air-conditioning vent in the gallery space has been engulfed with ripped, recycled paper, resembling a tsunami of leaves and creating a sense of shrubbery and immense growth of plants.
