Fine Arts

The focus of my practice this year has been to build an understanding of figure painting whilst continuing to develop a visual language within the genre of still life. Each stream draws on ideas related to nostalgia; the fragmentation of memory, the preciousness and fleeting nature of childhood and the plight of the classically minded artist in a contemporary context.
