Contour is a collection of pieces that is inspired by rock formation and geographical contour. This collection embodies my interest in natural forms and the notion of growth, which is constantly imbued in my work. The utilisation of varying materials to explore this idea enables greater ideas of the earth and nature to be illustrated through smaller elements and provides wearability. Furthermore, these materials have allowed me to diverge and organically wander away from my initial concept and communicate multiple ideas to the viewer and wearer – it is ultimately a conversation about the openness and freedom of opinion in a piece I wish to create.
