With an ever-expanding urban population, it is becoming increasingly inefficient to transport and produce food by conventional means. The solution is to create a more sustainable food growing system that caters to the personal needs of the inner-city population. City dwellers don’t have the space to spare for a conventional garden, and with the concern for sustainability in the home rising, resources must be used as efficiently as possible.

That’s where Leaf comes in. Leaf is a modular, compact and stylish hydroponic system capable of cultivating a wide range of fruit and vegetables, while keeping the use of space to a minimum. It is a powerless design, using passive hydroponics to wick moisture to the plants, as they need it. Beginners to gardening can start with one, and build up their collection as they progress.
